The Task
The task is for individuals or small groups of pupils working together to create

Each presentation will be judged by a Judging Panel from ADTTS and the best of these will go forward to the Final Judging Stage where the overall winners will be chosen. At the Final Judging Stage the best presentations will be shown at an evening meeting of the members of ADTTS, where the eventual winners in each town category will be chosen.
The presentations should be 3 -
Famous citizens of the town
Architecture/interesting buildings
Local industry/farming/means of livelihood
Cultural aspects
Famous events held in the town
Food and drink
Tourism in and around the town

Participants are expected to do research on the Internet or in libraries to find information on the twin
towns. To get you started, this website contains some useful links to the twin towns. Click on the town’s
name in the navigation bar.
The Presentations
The presentations will be expected to have a commentary (spoken or subtitled), may include still and moving images, music, text, and make use of the various techniques offered by Presentation software, and be capable of running in a continuous loop on a PC.
Each presentation should have a title at the beginning and credits at the end.
The Prizes:
There will be cash prizes for the pupils and for the runners up submitting the best presentation overall. 1st Prize £100, 2nd Prize £50, 3rd Prize £25. 4 further prizes of £25 each with be awarded to the best town presentations not included in the first 3.
Certificates will be awarded to each entrant
We are aiming to show the winning town presentations at a Twin Towns Music Concert, to be held in the Amey Theatre in Autumn 2022 or Spring 2023.
THE CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMITTING PRESENTATIONS is JUNE 30th, 2022.

ADTTS is proud to announce the launch of its
2022
The ADTTS promotes twinning with the twin towns of Abingdon and the Vale of the White Horse District Council and the Society liaises with other Vale twinning associations.
Social events on a twinning theme are held throughout the year, including garden parties, wine tastings, exhibitions and talks on European topics.
Frequent visits and exchanges are organised by the Society. Many Abingdon clubs and societies are now Associate Members and if needed, we help these clubs and societies to organise their own visits.
